I don’t do well with real time

And voila! It only took me 72 hours longer than I imagined. Probably best that I stick to the pull-the-completed-project-from-under-the-table method, afterall! It’s much less anticlimactic that way :)

And here is the long view:

I love it! I can smell the buttery goodness from here…
How long does the actual sewing take? That kind of fine detail work drives me mad. I have a lot of respect for people with that kind of dedication to detail work.
And how do you make the facial features? The noses and eyes look like they’re just threaded, but the eyes… Are they pre-made and sewn on, or do you actually stitch each eye on the spot?
And what makes the smiley ones smile that bitter smile while the bitter ones remain so sweetly bitter?
Great job, as always, Miss Chrissy!

Every stitch on there is embroidered by hand. I don’t use buttons or anything pre-made… I’m just OCD and have lots of practice :)

I read your blog too! I do! I just don’t comment because I have nothing coherent to say at any given time ever. See.
